2. Differences from fitness wear

Wide variety

Yoga classes include restorative yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra , and other low -intensity yoga classes that relax the body and mind. There are many types of yoga, including relaxing yoga , hot yoga, power yoga, and Ashtanga yoga, which require a lot of physical activity. There are many different types of yoga, including active yoga that helps you sweat and detox .

Yoga wear differs from fitness wear in that there are many designs that pursue relaxation and ease of movement . Just as you can choose a yoga class that suits your physical condition, you can also choose the yoga wear that suits you.

Excellent functionality

Yoga involves a variety of movements such as forward bending, backward bending, twisting, and leg splits, so elasticity and a design that does not restrict the range of motion of muscles and bones are important. In addition, since yoga places great importance on breathing, a comfortable fit that is not too tight is necessary so that you can breathe easily.

Unlike fitness wear , yoga wear has all the necessary functions to make your yoga time comfortable. Yoga wear suitable for classes where you will sweat a lot also has features such as quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and deodorizing properties.

3. Points to check when wearing

Ease of movement

When doing forward bending or inverted asanas, is your waistline flipped up? * Especially in classes that require a lot of physical activity. !

In yoga, there are many asanas that involve the head being lowered. Because the waist is turned up and the stomach and back are completely exposed, If you are worried about this, your concentration will be broken every time. If you are planning to participate in a class that requires a lot of physical activity, you should choose a design that fits your body well. Or check if the waist is adjustable.

Do you feel any stress when moving your arms or opening your legs ?

Yoga involves a lot of movement of the joints. Especially when you raise your arms, intertwine your fingers behind your back, or spread your knees. Make sure your yoga wear is comfortable and allows you to move freely without any stress .

If you attend a hot yoga class

Excellent breathability and quick-drying properties

If you are participating in hot yoga or other yoga classes that make you sweat a lot, it is recommended to wear something that is highly breathable so that heat does not build up. Also, check that it has excellent absorbency and quick-drying properties that absorb sweat and dry quickly .

4. About the materials

Natural fibers such as cotton and linen are recommended for relaxing styles.

○Breathability, water absorption, and heat retention
× It is not quick-drying, so it becomes heavy when it absorbs sweat.
